I'm posting this in both of my journals to get as maximum coverage as possible.

I'm alternating between total numbness and gut-wrenching pain right now after finding out that my good friend Wendell Collier has passed away Saturday night (December 10, 2005). After speaking to his wife Laura I found out that Wendell had a very bad upper respiratory infection that became a Type A Influenza that escalated to pneumonia and finally resulted in heart failure. He died in the hospital with his family in Texas.

Funeral services will be performed out there but Laura is flying into Tampa next week and there will be a memorial for Wendell here in Tampa.
